Balanced Energy Wellness is seeking a compassionate, skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our established and supportive clinic. We provide Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and Diet Therapy to patients throughout the Peachtree City community and surrounding areas. Peachtree City is consistently recognized as one of the safest communities in the country, with a median per capita income well above the national average and ranking among the top 10 communities in Georgia. Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including many U.S. Veterans, and places a strong emphasis on respectful, relationship-based care.

About the Role
This position begins as part-time (minimum of 20 hours per week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. The selected provider will have access to:
• Three fully equipped treatment rooms
• An on-site herbal pharmacy
• Part-time front desk support

Compensation is based on a percentage of completed patient treatment fees (commensurate with experience), plus commissions on product sales. Compensation is calculated and paid monthly. The clinic provides marketing support, needles, and standard supplies. Additional benefits include discounts on herbal medicines and supplements, as well as complimentary acupuncture treatments.

Position Overview
As an Acupuncturist at Balanced Energy Wellness, your primary role is to support healing by creating a safe, calm, and trusting environment for every patient. Clinical skill is essential, but so is emotional intelligence. We are looking for someone who listens attentively, communicates clearly and kindly, and treats each patient with respect, patience, and empathy. Many of our patients are Veterans experiencing chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and complex health concerns. The ideal candidate is someone who can balance clinical confidence with compassion —advocating for patients while collaborating effectively with colleagues and staff.

Essential Job Functions
• Conduct patient assessments through brief health histories, interviews, observation, and clinical interpretation
• Establish rapport and help patients feel at ease, heard, and respected throughout each visit
• Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile, single-use needles in compliance with Clean Needle Technique and all applicable regulations
• Evaluate patient responses and progress; adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients on the benefits of consistent acupuncture care and confidently present recommended courses of treatment
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in the JaneApp Electronic Health Records system (training provided)
• Complete all required Veterans Administration documentation for Community Care patients (training provided)
• Communicate clearly with team members regarding patient care plans and clinic operations
• Schedule follow-up visits and process patient payments using JaneApp
• Protect patient privacy and adhere strictly to HIPAA standards
• Prescribe herbal formulas and provide dietary recommendations when appropriately trained
• Perform light cleaning and restocking to help maintain a clean, welcoming clinic environment

Minimum Requirements
• NCCAOM certification (must be maintained throughout employment)
• Master’s Degree in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine from an accredited institution
• Current Georgia Acupuncture license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Credentialed with the Veterans Administration Community Care Program (or eligible for credentialing)
• Ability to remain calm, attentive, and compassionate in a clinical setting
• Strong time management skills with the ability to treat multiple patients per hour without compromising care quality
• Confidence and clarity when explaining diagnoses and treatment plans
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, phones, and standard office equipment
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Experience treating musculoskeletal conditions and using electro-acupuncture is preferred
